“The rain shower fell lightly on the day I was born. It was
early in the morning and the sun had awake. But the moon was still up above.
Umm, I thought there was also a rainbow that day,” as been told by a friend of
mine from Atjeh 10 or 11 years ago. Yup, I know what is on your mind right now.
I thought my friend perhaps was hungry or drunk when he told me this
story.
When I look beyond the past, I do not doubt that he had once
been hypnotized by Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’, imagery of a beautiful night
sky decorated by various kinds of blue as it becomes the painting center of
interest. I thought my friend considered this phenomenon as real, as the
moon embraces the sun in the sea of stars. As if it he expected the phenomenon
to appear in his precious life. Unfortunately, just like Van Gogh, my friend
died several years earlier before finally witnessing the graceful sky constellation.
One thing is for sure, these two figures were similar. Both of
them long for a natural occurrence that is too good to be true. So how could
they draw or imagine something they never see? Rainshower, sunrise and
sunset, rainbow, all of these not that kind of bizarre things. Except for the rainbow,
we see them every day. We consider them as part of our boring days, and
unable to see the beauty lies underneath. But these late two folks were
blissful since their eyes could capture the sexy things. However, artists
(painters) are the ones susceptible to any plain matters. How come? It is their
neighborhood or environment from which they draw the inspiration. They (likely) have a
wide point of view for any possibilities. They may suffer panic if the
possibilities don’t exist, as it leads them to an open road to create their desired
possibilities. As Albert Einstein put it, “Imagination is more important than
knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while
imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and
understand.”
What Pops Einstein tried to say is that it is not a sin to have an imagination, as it sounds in our brain talk to us every time to lead humans to create what wasn’t there, to create possibility out of impossibility. Of course, the brain is not the only organ within the body. It is a part of a living object called a human. Inside the human body, the brain must share its position with other well-functioned organs. There’s heart helps humans to feel. There’s gastric as a center of every human outwardly desires, so-called eat, drink, drunk, or intercourse. Just like a human, these organs are always at risk. Lose, win, or draw are choices they have. Lack of practicing organs will lose in rivalry against other organs. Brain’s ability will fail against emotion, as heartbeat won’t stop thumping. It also has a chance to lose against desire, as a human has eaten, drink drank, or intercourse day in and day out. On the other hand, an overpowering brain will defeat any other body function. A muttering brain will push aside eat, drink, drank, and intercourse out of human daily routine. It will kill emotion, and rush to count profit and loss and how to gain its destiny and disassemble the needs of justice, neither love.
‘Eccentric’ artist
There was a period when Adolf Hitler profession was an artist, as he used to be an art college student. He was supposed to be a vulnerable and sensitive kind of man, just like my dear artist friends. When we take a glance at his paintings and sketches, we might feel bitter since these works of art were made by the hand of ‘You-Know-Who’. But if you don’t know who he is, please grab your phone right now and type the word ‘Hitler’ in the search box. You can pick one among the list of sources you prefer. It is Psychology Today that once said, Hilter had an unpleasant childhood back then. After his mother passed away, he and his brother were raised under violent parenting by his father. Hit and scold were these two little boys' daily meals. Whenever little Hitler made a small mistake, his father would whip him. Once he tried hard not to break tears when his father was whipping him 32 times in a row. This was the root of the evil, it is called his obsession with perfection, as he has always been heavily punished for a random or big failure.
The same site diagnosed Hitler as a person with a narcissistic character. Narcissists, or self-admirers, don't seem right to identify Hitler himself. His behavior is more inclined to OCD (obsessive compulsion disorder), or the compulsion to undertake everything perfectly just the way he wanted to be precise. This makes more sense as a result of an obsession for perfection. As the sound of Adolf's head said, the most perfect thing is something natural, genuine, and rooted in its origin. Something like himself, in this case, race. All that is different is imperfect, while imperfection is intolerable. Therefore, all that is different must be destroyed. This is certainly different from a girl or widow who rejects the love of a boy or a widower because the guy doesn't like Indian movies. It's more like a clash between supporters of two soccer teams competing for the top of the standings. Victory, both in defeating the opposing team and a girl's heart, needs someone to convince them that they deserve it. Why? Because he is a perfectionist. You and I know this is nothing new. I'm sure now you have made up your mind about how abundant OCD sufferers are all around us lately.
What does our head
say?
After reading the above sentences something comes up in our mind, that eventually Adolf Hitler wasn’t born and blessed by the Almighty Creator with all his dark natures as we have been told all along. There are huge factors involved that affect and influence the way humans think, perform, and feel in the end, leave alone the destiny, or origins. A mix of the way humans think, perform and feel taught by a father or a mother to their children, by a grandfather to grandchildren, by a teacher to his students. One’s brain will note every sound precisely so that the sounds themselves can be heard continuously even after the ones who own it are long gone. A flock of sounds will assimilate and unite, creating a single new sound inside each human brain.
However, to forget is every human nature, consciously or unconsciously. In certain situations, the brain succeeded to trick its owner. Whether it is because of its owner's lack of water or fish, time will come when our brain is betraying us and is not functioning properly. The owner will easily forget what those sounds have been said. The human brain will be getting numb immediately to significant moments of the past.
They are not sins unless our forgetfulness is 'successfully' creating serious problems. A group of people manipulates our forgetfulness to dominate another group to thrive. The trick is to bombard the human brain with sounds that are said to be facts continuously until the human brain, the guinea pig, perceives it as reality. The stagflation looming in the global economy will sooner or later impact the domestic economy. Even in good economic conditions, humans have to struggle to make a living, let alone in such sluggish economic conditions. Humans do not have time to digest the information that keeps running in front of them. Whether true or not, they felt it was none of their business. They were too tired to earn money to buy some food, no strength left to start a conversation with themselves. There was no time to listen to the voice in his head. Little by little, the voices subsided and were no longer heard. Since many people have lack of education on mental health problems, they thought that dialogue with themselves was a sign of insanity.
Humans are social creatures who cannot live alone. But that doesn't mean he has to continuously give himself to those around him. Parents do not fully belong to the child and vice versa. Husband and wife belong to each other, but there is room for each to mature with time. To live harmoniously with the community is vitally important, to some extent time has proven that difficulties come at any time. The people around us are the first to come to the rescue if something happens. However, what if society's kindness makes us lazy to learn to deal with difficulties on our own? What if our confidence becomes a barrier between us and social reality? What are the standard rules that will play as a red line when we have gone too far into somebody's life? All of these are voices in the head that are having dialogue, conducting experiments, seeking solutions to problems, which may not be heard if humans spend too much time responding to the voices of many people.
